LeGrand Music has been serving the Knoxville community since 2009. We help children, teens, and adults build lasting musical skills through thoughtful, one-on-one instruction.

OUR STORY

LeGrand Music was built around a simple idea: students grow best when excellent teaching is personal. From our Knoxville studio at 213 Hotel Road, we have developed a community where students can begin an instrument, return to music, prepare for an advanced goal, or simply make music an important part of life.

PROFESSIONAL FACULTY

Our professional instructors bring more than 300 years of combined experience as musicians. Faculty credentials extend through the doctoral level and include accomplished performers, formally trained educators, university faculty, composers, recording artists, and active professional musicians.

We teach students of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners through advanced musicians. Each student is matched with an instructor whose expertise, personality, and teaching approach fit their needs.

PERSONALIZED, COMPLETE MUSICIANSHIP

Lessons are shaped around the student’s interests, pace, and goals. Our instructors help students develop healthy technique, music reading, rhythm, theory, creativity, practical practice habits, confidence, and growing independence.

We believe progress should be clear and encouraging. Students receive thoughtfully chosen material, early help with challenges, and instruction that adapts as they grow.

MORE THAN A WEEKLY LESSON

Eligible tuition includes access to LeGrand bands, ensembles, classes, and performance opportunities. These experiences give students meaningful ways to collaborate, perform, and become more confident musicians. Knoxville Classical Guitar sponsored events and programs are separate.

IN PERSON AND ONLINE

Students may study in person in Knoxville or online through Resonance Sessions, LeGrand Music’s live online lesson program. Online students learn one-on-one with the same professional faculty and receive real-time feedback and a plan shaped around their goals.

INSTRUMENT GUIDANCE

When students need an instrument, accessories, books, or rental guidance, LeGrand Music connects families with FlintMeryl Music. PickHead remains an active FlintMeryl brand.
