Here We Grow: A Joyful First Step into Music

At LeGrand Music Studios, we believe music is a gift that can shape a child’s life. But what if your little one is excited about music yet not quite ready to start an instrument? That’s where our Here We Grow program comes in.

Designed for children ages 4–6, this program is a fun and welcoming introduction to the world of music. Each week, students enjoy 20-minute lessons filled with activities that spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage creativity.

What Kids Experience in Here We Grow

The Elements of Music: Children learn about rhythm, melody, and dynamics in ways that feel natural and playful.

Fun with Rhythm: From clapping games to movement activities, rhythm comes alive in every class.

Instrument Exploration: Kids are introduced to a variety of instruments, giving them hands-on experience and helping them discover what excites them most.

Singing and Expression: Voices are celebrated as children sing songs that develop listening, memory, and expressive skills.

Why It Matters

These early experiences help children develop the building blocks of music that prepare them for future lessons on piano, guitar, violin, or voice. Families often find that Here We Grow provides clarity about which path their child wants to take when they’re ready for a full instrument.
